The Federation of Engineers, Technicians and Technologists of Uganda (FETU) is a non-profit professional federation bringing together every level of Uganda's technical workforce under one credible national platform.
At FETU, we're not just another organization; we're a community dedicated to championing the interests of Engineers, Technologists, Technicians & Artisans in Uganda. Our mission is clear: to advocate for better salaries, minimum wage standards, improved job opportunities, enhanced working conditions, and ultimately, the betterment of every individual in our field.
We are the voice of the people — from chartered engineers designing major infrastructure to artisans building the homes, roads and systems that power everyday life.

A short history
FETU was founded to bridge a long-standing gap: Uganda had no single platform uniting every level of its technical workforce. From its first chapter in Kampala, FETU has grown into a national federation serving members from chartered engineers to skilled artisans, with regional chapters reaching every corner of the country.
Today, FETU is the trusted voice of Uganda's engineers, technologists, technicians and artisans — and a partner to government, industry and education in building the Uganda of tomorrow.
